Two distinct groups of people will read this portion of our website:
- A soul that God is calling to seek and follow Him
- A soul that presently believes in Jesus Christ is attending another church building and wondering what those at River of Life are about.
We write this to address the fundamental questions for one seeking a growing relationship with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. *(For those already attending a church, we would love to answer your questions. Stop in on a Sunday or call the pastor.)
We Believe:
- We believe that it is only through a belief and relationship with Jesus Christ that eternal life in the presence of God is available.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV)
- We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is wholly and fully true.
- All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.(2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV)
- We believe that Jesus will return at the end of this age for His Bride, the Church
- For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.(1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 NKJV)
- We believe that God through His Holy Spirit has brought us together and are now the physical presence of Christ body with Jesus Christ being our head.
- … speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.(Ephesians 4:15-16 NKJV)
- The size of our assembly, sixty plus, is conducive to joining together as a family. We are aware of each other individually, taking care of needs when they arise and supporting one another in our walk with Christ.
- Some would say we are an eclectic group of people. Some are young, some are older, some have known the Lord for many years, and others are just starting their walk. We all work together to assist and support each other at any point.
- Membership: If the Lord has accepted you and you have signed your heart over to Him, that is good enough for us, and there is no need to sign a church membership form here at River of Life.
Please stop in on Sunday at 10:00 am and meet us. We would love to help you find the purpose you have been created for and the answers to life you may be looking for.
